Malaria Challenge: Funding Decisions

In this activity, you decide the best way to spend £20 million of charity funding. You will discuss the pros and cons of 10 different malaria projects and then allocate money to the projects you feel are most deserving of funding.

This discussion-based activity is suitable for anyone wanting to know more about malaria and the different projects taking place around the world trying to eradicate the disease. It can be used to support the teaching of malaria in the classroom for able GCSE and A-level students alongside the other resources that accompany the multimedia resource Malaria Challenge (see related links below).

Age: 16 years + (KS4/GCSE +)
