Designed for students aged 14 and above, this program allows participants to explore various careers in genomics, science, and data without leaving their homes. From laboratory roles to communication and management positions, students get an in-depth understanding of the diverse career options available at the Sanger Institute.

From lab and data-based roles to communications and management positions, you’ll get an inside scoop into life at a pioneering, industry-leading research campus.
In this virtual work experience programme, you’ll receive a top-level overview of the world of genomics - from gene editing to ethics and synthetic biology. You’ll even complete a series of quizzes and fun activities to help build your understanding of the industry, and have the ability to hear from the experts during this programme’s pre-recorded webinars.
