Become familiar with what a micropipette is, what it is used for and how to accurately use one for moving small volumes of liquid.

Scientists use micropipettes to precisely measure and transfer very small volumes of liquid in their daily work. Accurately using a micropipette is an essential skill for many scientists.

These activities will allow learners to master the art of micropipetting. The below resource packs include all the guidance you need to complete: micropipetting target practice, pipette pointillism, and micropipetting masterpieces.

You will need a P20 micropipette, tips and some food dye to complete this activity.
